How do I clean concrete?
Like all objects in daily use, concrete surfaces also require regular care. As with any material, the right treatment is also important for the very robust artificial stone - right from the start. This is because it helps to prevent soiling and stains and ensures that you can enjoy your concrete product for years to come.
The care of concrete surfaces is similar to the care of real wood surfaces and is quite straightforward. If you follow our care instructions, a simple wipe with a damp cloth is sufficient for everyday cleaning.
All products are pre-treated by us with "Lithofin Fleckstop W" before delivery and first use. On request and after consultation with you, we can also apply a sealant to the product for indoor use. However, this does not exclude further care of your concrete furniture!
To preserve the surfaces, you should observe the following instructions: Concrete furniture is attacked by acidic substances such as vinegar, lemon juice, ketchup, wine, sparkling wine, acidic cleaners, etc. Keep these substances away from your furniture! Never use acidic cleaning agents to clean your concrete products!
Do not place any hot objects (pots, pans) directly on the concrete surfaces.
Always use a coaster to place drinks on to avoid ugly water marks on the concrete.
Remove any soiling from your product as quickly as possible.
