Sculpture Flamma

A special kind of highlight: "Flamma" sculpture in gold or anthracite steel with concrete base

Evenly shaped steel semi-circles dance around each other with weightless ease, coming together and forming a blazing flame before our eyes: this is "Flamma", another "highlight" in the new sculpture collection from CO33. Once again, the fascinating range of possibilities unfolds here to create the illusion of movement with seemingly simple geometric figures and form organic shapes that have a haptic dimension for the viewer. Art you can touch and not (just) for the display case. This claim is underlined not least by the choice of materials: the dominant element is once again high-quality industrial steel - in its raw, original form with natural shades of colour and the visible traces of the sculptor's tools or finished with a special gold-coloured lacquer for a "finer" look. The steel sculpture is held and supported by a 15 x 15 cm cube-shaped base made of concrete, which has also been left as raw as possible to emphasise the "grounded" character of the figure. With a height of 66 or 76 cm, "Flamma" is one of the larger-format sculptures in the series and is particularly suitable for prominent placement as a single object or in pairs in a room or outdoors - like all our steel sculptures, "Flamma" is weatherproof and can easily be left outdoors for long periods of time. The patina caused by the effects of rain and sun will make your sculpture even more unique over the years!

The sculpture and base are individually handcrafted in our CO33 workshop, with each piece being unique in its own right: just as no two flames are ever the same, details such as the exact arrangement of the semicircles and the colour shades of the steel and concrete used also differ in "Flamma".
