TABULA LABORARE is a modern high table and the first of its kind from CO33. Designer Gregor Uhlmann came up with the idea when, during the redesign of our offices, we needed a meeting place where the team's thoughts could be moulded into projects, solutions and new ideas in a creative round. And when can thoughts flow more perfectly than in a standing/moving posture? There was of course no question that TABULA LABORARE would be a concrete high table in our office. A circular table is of course the perfect shape for a creative group. To ensure that this table stands securely on its feet, it needs a stable foundation that is as light and delicate as possible without weighing down the room. This is achieved almost playfully with the light, Greco-Roman-style columns made of lacquered steel, which form a strong and stable unit and yet still allow a clear view into the room. Gracefully supported in this way, the slender concrete top, in grey, dark grey or black, rounds off the design almost weightlessly. Meetings are a pleasure at this table!
